Hey
I'm so sorry for the biiiig silence. I can not tell you enough how really sorry I am and I was more worried about what you would be thinking probably more than you were worried about me.You never did anything wrong. What happened is when I got to the Word of life camp site, Iwas given the responsibility of camp registrar. That is big.I was excited because I felt honoured to have been granted such a responsibility but this is the price I had to pay. I was basically the guy on the groung running the camp. Now that Martin is also gone to the states at the wolBI, I had to step into his shoes, which were really quit big. So it happened that I never went into Mombasa town to check mail i was always in a rush. Now I'm back to school and it kinda feels like holiday!I hope you understand that I really really am sorry for any inconviniences I might have caused you.
So what college are you in, for how long, and exactly what are you studying? I'm glad you went on all those mission trips, they open one's eyes to the world out of our own.
I'm glad you enjoyed the song.I'll send you the interpretation of the whole song sometime. I also made a video for the song last month and it will be ready by next week. I can't wait to see it most of my buddies are in it!
Anyway I hope that you will seek to make disciples, for this is the great commission. Always be accountable to someone and never forsake the virtues you have always grown by.
Pray with me as I raise funds for this term (It's so exciting to be a second year student!) and as I look forward for a term full of devotion and abiding in Christ.
I think this is cool, please read it...
To many, Jesus Christ is only
a grand subject for a painting
a heroic theme for a pen
a beautiful form for a statute
or a thought for a song
But to those who have heard His voice
Who have felt His pardon
Who have received His benediction
He is music- light- Joy- hope and salvation-
A friend who never forsakes, lifting you up when others tryto put you down...
I struggle for a metaphor with which to express Jesus.
He is not like the bursting forth of an orchestra.
That is too loud and it might be out of tune.
He is not like a sea when lashed by a storm,
That is too boisterous.
He is not like a mountain canopied with snow,
That is too solitary and remote.
He is the lily of the valley;
the Rose of Sharon;
A gale of sweet spices from heaven.
He is our home
To sinners with tears
Giddy.
