The Waiting Room |
Saturday, April 10, 2004 Hey Gideon, I hope everything is ok. But I know how stressful things can get during and after final exams. Guess what? You'll be so proud of me. I played the tambourine in church the other day!!! I think I must be developing some rhythm after all!! First it was just the little egg shaker and now the tambourine. Before you know it, I'll be playing the whole drum set. Well, probably not, but I can always dream, can't I? Last Fri evening, my friend Samantha and I went to this Motown Concert at our school and I was a the University that had come to play soul music for us. It was so cool!! we were all up dancing in the aisles and stuff. Granted, I probably made a fool out of myself. But I try sooooo hard. Oh well...posted by Bethany at 3:38 PM Monday, April 05, 2004 Oh wow, I hope that your exams go just fine. But I know that you are so intelligent. I have no doubt that you'll do fine. Guess what? I am sooo excited right now!! Well, let me give you a little backgroud before I tell you my exciting news. Starting last Mon, I've started following around the Emergency Medical Services here in my hometown and I'll go with them whenever they get a call or whenever someone is having an emergency and needs some help. Well, TODAY was the first call I've gotten and it was so excited. It wasn't THAT cool, really, but for my first one. It was perfect. I didn't want TOO big of an emergency oh miy first time. This guy had a mild stroke and the EMTs let me take his blood pressure and hook him up to the heart monitor. It was so fun! And not that I wish anyone ill, but it makes it so much more fun when I get to actaully DO something. The people I work with also said they might let me start an IV because I'm taking that phlebotomy class and already learning how to stick veins.posted by Bethany at 3:01 PM |
