I got your postcard today and it made my day! Thank you so much for that! It made for a fantastic start to school today! School is fun and exciting and I can tell that I am going to have some challanges this year and certainly some adventures but it is just school none the less and even though today was our first day, it seemed so routine in some ways. I'm taking some bad homework classes. Our first day and my history teacher assigned us 90 pages of reading by tomorrow. I am not looking forward to that very much but I suppose that it is better to have my hard work classes at the begining of the school year than the end when I'm ready to slack off. This evening in our youth group we had some informal discussion time talking about how we can improve some of our ministeries. I'm excited about what we talked about. Mostly it was changing lives. How can we change lives in what we do. And we got some really good responses back and I think that if we will actually put them into action that our youth group will grow really close and that we will be able to do just that- change lives. Some of my friends came over to my house this evening after church to admire my guitar. My friend Andrew is a VERY good bass player and he has alot of guitar knowledge and he said that it looked nice! I was thrilled. Then he said that he was impressed with my work-for a girl. I didn't know what to say to that. I think that I am going to start working out, maybe I'll build some muscle on my body or something. Are you familiar with Avalon? They have this song that says something like "The dreams I dream for you are better than the ones your clinging to, are finer than the finest things you chose." It been making me think alot about what God does or does not have in store for me and my future. Sometimes, I can't believe that after this, I only have one year of high school left. I can't believe that after all the dreaming about my future that I've been doing I actually get to make some of it happen. The moon tonight is hidden behind the clouds but the clouds are thin enough that it illuminates them. It is absolutly goregous. It is also reminding me that I have to get up early tomorrow to go to school so I am going to bed. I miss you so much and I am so glad that you like me. God really has blessed my life. I'm praying for you alot.
Yours- Beti

I had the best time chatting with you on Sat. I'm sorry that I had to leave to abruptly. My uncle needed the phone. I was a little surprise thought, at what a good time I had shopping with my friend Nancy later on that day. I didn't expect to have so much fun with her. She is so funny. I hope that you had a good time visiting with your sister. I miss my sister alot. Today her classes actually begin. Did I ever tell you that my sister wants to move to Africa? She so amazing. Guess what? I'm SO proud of my guitar. It's looking SO good! I'm mostly finished with the painting, I just have to do finishing touches and put the glaze on. The flames look so good! I'm so excited for it to get finished so I can play it. DId you ever ask that guy what the Tevin Campbell CD was? I start school tomorrow. I think that reality still has not quite hit me. Maybe becasue I still have to work all day today. Are you in the drama shows? That would be way cool to see. Are they for the campers or who? Tonight I'm going to go out to eat with my friend Lindsay and I'm really excited about it. It makes me feel so old to be able to go out to a nice resturant without an adult. Well, I need to go to work but I am very much looking forward to our date on Sat.

wossup baby!
Today new campers arrive and so another week of camp.I'm excited too an I know new challenges and new things to learn will come up so please continue to pray for us.As I told you teenagers are quite harder to handle and we really need wisdom during a time such as this but I believe that God is going to use us greatly to influence and change lifes positively.Hey remember I might not be able to get a chance to check the blog during the week because I don't get the chance to come to town where I check mail but should a slight opporunity arise I'll make use of it just to see if you wrote something.Otherwise this friday and sunday we'll be having the drama shows please continue to pray for that too and on saturday you and I have a date at the same time right?Missing and praying for you a lot
